LIMITED EDITION 70% MADAGASCAN HOT CHOCOLATE
We're very excited to introduce a limited number of speciality hot chocolate to our shop – celebrating the detail and nuances of cacao from bean to cup.
Made using our award-winning bean to bar chocolate, our hot chocolate is handcrafted in micro-batches using single-origin Madagascan cacao.
This is a beautifully balanced hot chocolate.
Rich in deep chocolate tones and bursting with taste notes of red berries and maple syrup – working very well with cows milk and alternatives.
It displays the natural complexity of the cacao without additives, flavourings or excess sugars.
Our 70%Madagascan chocolate won bronze at the 2019 International Chocolate Awards.
Ingredients: *cocoa beans, *raw cane sugar, *cocoa butter.
Just the Bare Bones.
METHOD: Add 50ml of milk (full-fat dairy milk is the most indulgent but alternatives are good too) to a saucepan with 30g of chocolate and put on low heat.
Mix with a whisk until all the chocolate is melted then immediately add another 100ml of the milk.
Continue to heat until warmed through - make sure not to simmer or overheat.
This ratio really displays the quality of the cacao creating an incredibly special hot chocolate.
