Pipers - 'Made By Farmers' Crisps
Flavour: Kirkby Malham Chorizo
Gluten Free

Chris and Nigel Wildman are farmers in the Yorkshire Dales National Park where they rear rare breed Oxford Sandy and Black pigs and have a flock of sheep that graze the lush pastureland around their farmyard.

As well as being passionate farmers, Chris and Nigel are talented butchers and charcutiers.

They prepare their own lamb and pork for the local markets and restaurants but also make the award-winning chorizo that goes into Pipers crisps.

It's a delicious blend of the finest quality pork, smoked paprika and spices that is then traditionally dry cured for three weeks to develop the intense flavour we love.

From Pipers  . . .

The Pipers story began in 2004 when three farmers - Alex Albone, Simon Herring and James Sweeting - joined forces to produce great tasting, quality crisps using local potatoes.

We work with carefully selected flavour partners who care as much about their products as we do about ours.

We are all passionate people driven by one thing and that is to deliver the best taste and quality possible - no gimmicks.

This passion for taste and quality is common across the Pipers team. It could be the people who sell our crisps in pubs, hotels, delis, farm shops, garden centres, museums and more.

Or it could be our own talented people working hard in a range of exciting careers at Pipers to make our products even better.

It's about crisps as they should taste.
